Distinguished boundary of a polydisc

Summary

The distinguished boundary of a polydisc P(a,r)P(a, r) in ℂn\C^n is the torus of points with ∣zj−aj∣=rj\abs{z_j - a_j} = r_j for every jj. It is the set over which the Cauchy integral formula on a polydisc integrates. A function holomorphic on the polydisc and continuous on its closure attains its largest modulus on this torus. It is the Shilov boundary of the algebra of such functions, and for n≥2n \ge 2 it is a small part of the topological boundary.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
