Operator theory Basic notions: bounded and unbounded operators Concept

Summary
The exponential of a bounded operator on a Banach space is the operator . It extends the matrix exponential to infinite dimensions. The family solves the linear differential equation in the Banach space and is the simplest example of an operator semigroup.
