f-vector

Summary

The f-vector of a convex polytope lists how many faces it has in each dimension. For a dd-polytope it is (f0,f1,…,fd−1)(f_0, f_1, \dots, f_{d-1}), where fif_i is the number of ii-dimensional faces. The same notion applies to simplicial complexes, and it is the starting point for the h-vector; see f-vector and h-vector. Describing which vectors are f-vectors is a main problem of polytope combinatorics.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
