Padé table

Summary

The Padé table of a power series is the array of all its Padé approximants [m/n][m/n]. It is indexed by the numerator degree mm and the denominator degree nn. Its first column holds the Taylor polynomials, and its diagonal holds the diagonal approximants [n/n][n/n]. Equal entries occur in square blocks, and the table is called normal when every entry occurs only once. The table organizes convergence questions and links Padé approximants with continued fractions.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
