Scott continuity
Summary
A map between partially ordered sets is Scott-continuous if it preserves suprema of directed subsets. Scott-continuous maps are exactly the maps that are continuous for the Scott topologies on both sides. In domain theory they model computable functions: the output on a limit of approximations is the limit of the outputs. A Scott-continuous self-map of a pointed dcpo has a least fixed point, which gives meaning to recursive definitions.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
