Tautological line bundle

Summary

Let ℙ(V)\mathbb{P}(V) be the projective space of lines in a vector space VV. The tautological line bundle on ℙ(V)\mathbb{P}(V) is the line bundle whose fibre over a point is the line that the point represents. Its sheaf of sections is 𝒪(−1)\mathcal{O}(-1), the dual of Serre's twisting sheaf. It is universal: a line bundle generated by finitely many global sections is pulled back from its dual 𝒪(1)\mathcal{O}(1) by a map to projective space.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
