Carlson symmetric forms

Summary

The Carlson symmetric forms RFR_F, RJR_J, RCR_C and RDR_D are a standard set of elliptic integrals that are symmetric in their main arguments. Every elliptic integral can be written with them, and in particular the Legendre integrals FF, EE and Π\Pi. Their symmetry gives a duplication theorem that leads to fast and stable numerical algorithms, which is why software libraries use them.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
