Clenshaw–Curtis quadrature
Summary
Clenshaw–Curtis quadrature integrates a function on by interpolating it at the points and integrating the interpolating polynomial exactly. The substitution turns the problem into a cosine series, so the weights can be computed fast with the discrete cosine transform. Its nodes for are contained in its nodes for , so doubling reuses all earlier function values. For many smooth functions it is about as accurate as Gauss–Legendre quadrature with the same number of points.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
