Elliptic hypergeometric series

Summary

An elliptic hypergeometric series is a series ∑cn\sum c_n in which the ratio cn+1/cnc_{n+1}/c_n is an elliptic function of nn. In ordinary hypergeometric series the ratio is a rational function of nn. In basic hypergeometric series it is a rational function of qnq^n, and the elliptic case is the next step. The terms are built from theta functions in place of the factors 1−aqk1 - aq^k. Setting the elliptic nome pp to 00 gives back basic hypergeometric series.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
