Fourier monomial on the circle

Summary

The Fourier monomials are the functions en(x)=einxe_n(x) = e^{inx}, nโˆˆโ„คn \in \Z, viewed as functions on the circle ๐•‹=โ„/2ฯ€โ„ค\mathbb{T} = \R / 2\pi\Z. They are the continuous homomorphisms from the circle group to the unit circle of โ„‚\C, that is, the characters of the circle. They form an orthonormal basis of L2(๐•‹)L^2(\mathbb{T}), and the coefficients of a function in this basis are its Fourier coefficients.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
