Functor of points

Summary

The functor of points of a scheme XX sends each scheme TT to the set of morphisms T→XT \to X, called the TT-points of XX. By the Yoneda lemma, the scheme XX is determined by this functor. This lets one define schemes by the data they parametrize, as is done for moduli spaces and Hilbert schemes.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
