Logarithmically convex domain
Builds on Reinhardt domainConvex set
Definition
Let be a Reinhardt domain with centre . Let , and let be the map . The domain is logarithmically convex if is a convex set in .
Remarks
Example: for the unit ball , , a sublevel set of the convex function , hence convex. Every polydisc with centre is logarithmically convex, since its image is a product of half-lines . Non-example: let , a Reinhardt domain. The points and lie in , with images and . The midpoint of these images is the image of , which is not in , so is not convex. For a complete Reinhardt domain, logarithmic convexity is equivalent to being a domain of holomorphy.
