Mellin transform of a theta series and the zeta function
Example
For let . With the theta function , one has . For , the Mellin transform of at is where is the gamma function and is the Riemann zeta function.
Check: for each the dilation rule gives Let . The sum over of the integrals of the absolute values is . So, by Fubini's theorem, the sum and the integral may be exchanged, and the sum of the right sides is .
The series is Mellin convergent at exactly for . Near , ; near , , which follows from the identity .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
