Multidimensional Mellin transform

Summary

The multidimensional Mellin transform takes a function on the open orthant (0,∞)n(0, \infty)^n to a function of nn complex variables, by integrating against x1s1−1⋯xnsn−1x_1^{s_1 - 1} \cdots x_n^{s_n - 1}. It is the Mellin transform applied in each variable in turn. It turns dilations in each variable into multiplication by powers, and it is used for the asymptotics of multiple integrals and sums.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
