Polymorphism of a relation

Definition
Let be a set, let , and let be an -ary relation on . An -ary operation is a polymorphism of if for all tuples the tuple is also in . For a set of finitary relations on , denotes the set of operations that are polymorphisms of every . For a set of finitary operations on , denotes the set of finitary relations on of which every is a polymorphism.
Remarks
Example: on , the majority operation is a polymorphism of the binary relation . Check: given three pairs in , the second coordinates are the complements of the first, so and the result lies in . Non-example: the operation on is not a polymorphism of the same , since applying it to and gives . For a unary relation , the polymorphisms are the operations under which is closed, so is a subuniverse. For an equivalence relation, the polymorphisms are the operations compatible with it, as in the definition of a congruence. If carries a relational structure, its polymorphisms are the homomorphisms from its -th power to itself.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
