Summary

The Ramsey number R(r,s)R(r, s) is the least nn such that every two-colouring of the edges of KnK_n has a blue KrK_r or a red KsK_s. Ramsey numbers measure how large a structure must be to contain order. The node Ramsey number gives the precise definition.
