Starred transform

Summary

The starred transform is the Laplace transform of the impulse-sampled version of a continuous-time signal. For a sampling period TT it equals X∗(s)=∑n≥0x(nT)e−nTsX^*(s) = \sum_{n \ge 0} x(nT) e^{-nTs}. It is the Z-transform of the samples with z=esTz = e^{sT}, and so it links the continuous-time analysis of a system with its discrete-time model. It is used in the theory of sampled-data control systems.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
