Sumudu transform

Summary

The Sumudu transform of a function ff on [0,∞)[0, \infty) is G(u)=∫0∞f(ut) e−t dtG(u) = \int_0^\infty f(ut)\, e^{-t}\, dt. It is the Laplace transform in disguise: G(u)=1uF(1u)G(u) = \frac{1}{u} F\big(\frac{1}{u}\big), where FF is the Laplace transform of ff. Its appeal is that it keeps units and scales: it sends tnt^n to n! unn!\, u^n and constants to the same constants. It is used, like the Laplace transform, to solve linear differential equations with constant coefficients.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
