Topological transitivity
Definition
Let be a topological space and let be a continuous map. The map is topologically transitive if for every pair of nonempty open sets there is an integer with .
Remarks
An equivalent form is , since both say that some point of is sent into by . Let be a compact metric space without isolated points. Then is topologically transitive if and only if some forward orbit is dense in . In that case the points with dense forward orbit form a dense set. Example: let on the circle with irrational. Every forward orbit is dense, so for nonempty open and a point , some with lies in . Non-example: the identity map of , with and , has for all .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
