Trigonometric interpolation
Summary
Trigonometric interpolation fits a trigonometric polynomial through prescribed values at given points of a period. With distinct nodes in one period there is exactly one interpolating trigonometric polynomial of degree at most . It is the periodic counterpart of Lagrange interpolation by ordinary polynomials. For equally spaced nodes its coefficients are given by the discrete Fourier transform. This makes it fast to compute and central in numerical analysis and signal processing.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
