Harmonic analysis on Euclidean spaces Definition
Dirichlet kernel
Definition
Let be an integer. The Dirichlet kernel of order is the trigonometric polynomial given by
Remarks
Summing the geometric progression gives for , and for . It is even, -periodic, and , since only the term contributes. For integrable and -periodic, the partial sums of its Fourier series are the convolutions Example: , and indeed . Non-example: is not a Dirichlet kernel, since its sum is not symmetric in ; it is not real-valued for . Some authors use the factor in itself, or the period with .

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
