Harmonic analysis on Euclidean spaces Convergence of Fourier series Concept
Dirichlet kernel
Summary
The Dirichlet kernel is the trigonometric polynomial whose convolution with a periodic function gives the -th partial sum of its Fourier series. In closed form . Its integral over a period is constant, but the integral of its absolute value grows like . This growth is the source of most convergence problems of Fourier series, including the existence of continuous functions with divergent Fourier series.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
