Harmonic analysis on Euclidean spaces Frames and time-frequency analysis Concept
Gabor frame
Summary
A Gabor frame is a frame of made of time shifts and frequency shifts of one window function . The shifts run over a lattice of the time–frequency plane. It gives a stable, discrete version of the short-time Fourier transform. A function is determined by the samples of on the lattice, and can be rebuilt from them. A Gabor frame can exist only when . At , the Balian–Low theorem shows that the window cannot be well localized in both time and frequency.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
