Hermitian kernel
Summary
A Hermitian kernel is a complex-valued kernel with for all and . It is the continuous analogue of a Hermitian matrix. A square-integrable Hermitian kernel gives a self-adjoint operator on , so its characteristic values are real and its eigenfunctions can be chosen orthonormal. The Hilbert–Schmidt theory of integral equations is built on such kernels.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
