Special functions Elliptic integrals and elliptic functions Concept

Nome

Summary

The nome is the variable q=eπiτq = e^{\pi i\tau} in which theta functions and elliptic functions are expanded as power series. For a real modulus 0<k<10 < k < 1 it is q=exp⁡(−πK′/K)q = \exp(-\pi K'/K), where KK and K′K' are complete elliptic integrals of the first kind. It ties the modulus of the Jacobi elliptic functions to the period ratio of their lattice.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
