Perimeter of a set
Summary
The perimeter of a measurable set is a measure-theoretic version of the area of its boundary. It is the total variation of the distributional gradient of the indicator function of . For a set with smooth boundary it equals the -dimensional area of the boundary, but it is defined for every Lebesgue measurable set. It is lower semicontinuous under convergence in , which makes it the natural quantity to minimize in problems such as the isoperimetric problem.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
