Periodic function
Definition
Let be a function and let be a real number. The number is a period of if for all . The function is periodic if it has a period .
Remarks
If is a period, then so is for each integer .
The sine function is periodic with period .
If a continuous periodic function is not constant, it has a smallest positive period. The Dirichlet function has every rational number as a period.
Mathlib defines periods as Function.Periodic.

What this page needs for W2
- edge instance_of in: one example (0 of 1)
- edge not_instance_of in: one non-example that fails one clause (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
