Polar polytope
Builds on Convex polytopeDot productInteriorFace of a convex set
Definition
Let be a convex polytope whose interior contains the origin . Let denote the dot product on . The polar polytope of is
Remarks
If are the vertices of , then . is again a convex polytope with in its interior, and . The map is an inclusion-reversing bijection from the faces of to the faces of , sending -faces to -faces.
Example: let . Its vertices are , so means for all signs, that is . So is the square with vertices and .
Non-example: for the origin is a vertex, not an interior point, so the definition does not apply. The same formula gives the unbounded set , which is not a polytope.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
