Quermassintegral

Summary

The quermassintegrals W0(K),…,Wn(K)W_0(K), \dots, W_n(K) of a convex body KK in ℝn\R^n are mixed volumes of KK and the unit ball BB. In Wj(K)W_j(K), the body KK is taken n−jn - j times and BB is taken jj times. They are the coefficients of the Steiner formula for the volume of the parallel body K+tBK + tB. They include the volume, a multiple of the surface area and a multiple of the mean width. Each one is an average of volumes of projections of KK onto subspaces.

What this page needs for W1

  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
  • a source with a locator (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
