Wedge product of forms

Builds on Differential form

Summary

The wedge product combines a kk-form and an ll-form into a (k+l)(k + l)-form. It is bilinear and alternating, and it encodes signed areas and volumes. It makes the differential forms on a set into an algebra.

Reading path

To understand this page from the ground up, read these 2 pages in order. The foundations come first.

Show the path as a graph
Each page uses the pages above it. The colour of the bar on a box shows how strong the evidence is, and the box also gives it as text. The list has the same pages.
