Definition
Let be an interval, let , and let . The class on is the set of functions such that The Lipschitz class on is the union of the classes over all .
Remarks
Example: on lies in . For one has , since squaring gives , that is .
Non-example: the same is not in , because is unbounded as .
In terms of the modulus of continuity , the condition says for all . is the class of Lipschitz continuous functions, and for is the class of Hölder continuous functions of exponent . The restriction is natural: for the condition forces , so only constant functions remain.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
