Harmonic at a point
Builds on LaplacianHarmonic functionOpen set
Definition
Let be an open set, let and let . The function is harmonic at if there is an open set with with two properties.
- The function is twice continuously differentiable on .
- Its Laplacian satisfies at every point of .
Remarks
Example: on is harmonic at . Indeed, on one computes . Non-example: on is not harmonic at . Its Laplacian vanishes at , but it is nonzero at points with arbitrarily close, so no neighbourhood works. A function is harmonic on if and only if it is harmonic at every point of . In Mathlib the condition reads: is at and on a neighbourhood of . This is the same condition, since a function that is at a point is on a neighbourhood of it.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
