Harmonic analysis on Euclidean spaces Wavelets Concept
Multiresolution analysis
Summary
A multiresolution analysis of is a nested chain of closed subspaces , one for each scale . The spaces are related by dilation by , and is spanned by the integer translates of one scaling function. Stéphane Mallat and Yves Meyer introduced it as the framework in which orthonormal wavelets are built. The wavelet spaces are the orthogonal complements of in , and the discrete wavelet transform moves between the levels with two filters.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
