Pochhammer symbol
Summary
The Pochhammer symbol is the rising factorial , a product of consecutive terms that go up by starting at . It is the basic building block of the hypergeometric series, whose coefficients are quotients of Pochhammer symbols. For not a non-positive integer it equals , which ties it to the gamma function. In combinatorics the same notation often stands for the falling factorial instead, so one has to check the convention of each text.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
